Linens

Linen uses range from bed and bath fabrics (tablecloths, dish towels, bed sheets, etc.), and Apparel items (suits, dresses, skirts, shirts, etc.), to industrial products (luggage, canvases, sewing thread, etc.).

Fairway cleaners take their Linen care seriously and thus follow manufacturer’s instructions when it comes to cleaning them.  Fairway cleaners have experience working with all kinds of linen including Bed and Bath Linens, Banquet linens, Apparels etc.

Tablecloth Cleaning and Pressing

Fairway cleaners service all sizes and all popular fabric choices for table cloths including linen, silk, cotton, polyester and other special fabrics.  Linen and silk are made of natural fiber, which are beautiful but requires some special cleaning care.   Fairway takes all these factors into account and takes pride in delivering only the best in service in removing stains, candle wax and other defects, making sure to provide the special care that the different fabrics require in cleaning.  The cleaning may require wet and dry cleaning to ensure a clean look and Fairway quality control makes sure this is the case.

Napkins

Fairway cleaners  take special pride in cleaning napkins as it is usually associated with food. Food or lipstick stains can usually be removed with normal washing. However,  this may also cause staining due to temperatures of the washing machines.  Fairway typically clean the stains prior to washing or dry cleaning.    We remove Grease stains by stretching the fabric tightly and running very hot water through the spot.   We remove Tea or Coffee stains by soaking the napkin in cold water  and then washing it normally.  We remove Candle wax by scraping off  the excess  and then ironing them  between two paper towels which act as blotters. Then wash as normal.  We remove Red wine stains which are usually the most difficult by using special environmentally friendly detergents and then washing them in hottest water that is safe for the fabric.

Table Runners

Fairway cleans table runners following the instructions based on the type of materials.  We have cleaned an assortment of materials including Satin, Silk, Cotton, and other fancy materials.

Seat Covers

Fairway cleans seat cover following the instructions based on the type of materials.  Typically seat covers are linen or cotton but we do clean seat covers in any material.

Uniforms [Police, Firemen, Doctors, Security, Ambulance, School, Sports, Coveralls]

To clean  uniforms  correctly require fine attention to detail and the services of a professional in the dry cleaning industry.  Fairway cleaners is that place.  First, we determine what type of material the uniform is made of which is usually found by looking inside at the label to determine it.  Next, we use cold water to pre-treat any stains on the uniform.  We are careful not use any chemicals or solvents that could potentially stain and discolour the fabric permanently.  We then follow manufacturer’s instructions on the type of washing to do including setting precise dry cleaning settings on our dry cleaning machine.

Assorted Suits

Fairway  understands that your suits are key to your professional life and we take the utmost care in handling all your suits.  We use high end specialized equipment and materials  to remove stains/spots, clean (dry/wet) and press your attire.  Our specialized  finishing equipment will ensure that you will not get any seam impressions in your pants, or on the pocket flaps of your jacket.  After pressing, all garments are inspected for quality of pressing and stain removal, and then if required our in-house seamstress will fix any minor repairs such as button repairs, loose threads etc at no charge.

Once completed, your clothes are packed in to protect the press job with special sleeve protection using tissues etc.

Assorted Shirts/T-shirts

Fairway is known for its cleaning of all types of shirts including cotton, silk and all fancy materials.  We wash our shirts using special soap materials in cold water to minimize shrinkage.  We use high end specialized equipment and materials to remove stains/spots, clean (dry/wet) and press your attire.  Our specialized finishing equipment will ensure that you will not get any seam impressions on your shirts.  After pressing, all garments are inspected for quality of pressing and stain removal, and then if required our in-house seamstress will fix any minor repairs such as button repairs, loose threads etc at no charge.

Assorted Pants

Fairway cleans all types of pants  including dress, causal wear, jeans and others regardless of materials.  Fairway takes special care and uses manufacturing instructions to wash, press and repair pants.    We use high end specialized equipment and materials to remove stains/spots, clean (dry/wet) and press your attire.  Our specialized finishing equipment will ensure that you will perfect seam impressions on your pants where appropriate.  After pressing, all garments are inspected for quality of pressing and stain removal, and then if required our in-house seamstress will fix any minor repairs such as button repairs, loose threads etc at no charge.

Assorted Dresses/ Wedding Gowns

Fairway understands that dresses/Wedding gowns and other such clothing are very personal to the women that wear them and therefore treat all dresses in a careful, delicate manner.  We first look for any stains or loose trim or buttons. We also look at how the trim is attached to the dress as some designers use an adhesive that could dissolve during the dry cleaning process.  We then follow the manufacturer’s instructions very closely and delivery a clean, well pressed/steamed product.  .  After pressing, all garments are inspected for quality of pressing and stain removal, and then if required our in-house seamstress will fix any minor repairs such as button repairs, loose threads etc at no charge.

Blankets/Duvets/Any Large Covering Materials

Fairway works with your items’s  manufacturers instructions to clean them.  We recommend using our equipment instead of your home washer/dryers to wash blankets, comforters, duvets etc as our equipment is sized for these types of items and we take special care in making sure all the process is monitored and a quality clean product is produced for you.  These items are then ironed and presented to you as if they are new.

Alterations

Fairway does all kinds of alterations. We can resize your dress, suit, or other garment to be smaller or larger. We can raise, lower, or repair hems.

We are also equipped to perform a wide variety of repairs to suede and leathers, including replacing linings and zippers.
